Muthu Belstead Brook Hotel

Beautiful hotel with great facilities and decor. I couldn't fault the food it was simply delicious. Both the bar area and restaurant were exceptional. Breakfast was hot and good choices. Staff in the restaurant and bar were lovely. The pampering facilities were brilliant and the service there was all I had expected. I had an amazing massage and I can honestly say it was one of the best. Well done! My room was a good size, comfortable and clean, the shower door didn't fully close but even that was not a problem. Even though I was a solo traveller it would not hurt to add an extra cup to the room and just have a few other options of hot drinks

The brilliant staff. The cleanliness of the property and the overall standard of decor and upkeep of the property, which is difficult in old large properties. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The food was so enjoyable and hot, which, for me, is important as I dislike being served lukewarm food. The portions were large!. Bar staff were good for a laugh and helpful, as was the guy doing hospitality in the restaurant. We mentioned it was mums birthday, and they decorated the table with confetti and balloons, a nice touch. The receptionists have been polite, professional, and approachable. The room service has been discreet, and the room kept clean and items refreshed that needed to be. All the staff have been a credit to the hotel. We didn't use the swimming facilities this time, so we can not comment on those, though previously they were very good.

The room had recently been redecorated. It was a very comfortable room with a wall heater that had a decorative flame affect. There was plenty of parking. We enjoyed the full english buffet breakfast. The hotel has a beautiful lawn and garden at the front with seating and an entrance to the main hotel, restaurant and bar. You feel that you are in the country. The hotel is easy to find and well signposted as you exit the A12 and take the A1214 towards Pinewood. The staff are very friendly and helpful and after asking; provided a luggage rack within minutes upon our arrival. I ordered a pizza through Room Service and it was delicious and very speedily delivered. This is our third or fourth visit and we really enjoy staying herre as it is very peaceful and relaxing.

We have stayed here many times. It’s a great location, great value for money and very relaxing.

The leisure facility was wonderful - on the Sunday morning I went for a swim, sauna and jacuzzi - it was really peaceful The room was nice, got given a bath which was great.
